경상국립대학교 토목공학과의 권민호 교수입니다.

철근콘크리트(RC) 구조물의 내구성 평가, 복합재료를 활용한 구조 보강, 그리고 지진공학 분야를 중심으로 다양한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.

주요 연구 분야는 콘크리트 구조물의 동적 거동 분석, 유한요소해석, 그리고 고도화된 수치해석 기법 개발입니다. 특히 동결융해·부식 등 열화 환경과 크리프 및 피로 하중에 따른 GFRP 보강근 콘크리트 부재의 장기 거동 평가 및 구조 안정성 분석, 그리고 복합재료를 이용한 친환경 보강 기술 개발에 주력하고 있습니다.

최근에는 인공지능(AI)·머신러닝(ML) 기법과 실험 데이터를 결합하여 재료 강도 및 RC 및 GFRP 보강근 콘크리트 부재의 거동을 예측하는 도전적인 연구도 수행하고 있습니다.

I am Professor Minho Kwon in the Department of Civil Engineering at Gyeongsang National University.

My research focuses on durability assessment of GFRP reinforced concrete, structural retrofitting using composite materials, and earthquake engineering.

Key research areas include dynamic behavior analysis of concrete structures, finite element analysis, and advanced numerical modeling. In particular, I specialize in evaluating the long-term behavior and structural integrity of RC members under deterioration conditions such as freeze-thaw cycling and corrosion, as well as creep and fatigue loading, and in developing eco-friendly retrofitting technologies using composite materials.

More recently, I have been pursuing research that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques with experimental data to predict material strength and the structural behavior of RC members.
